FitSage helps you decide what to wear for a real day, real weather, and a real occasion. This page explains, in plain English, what happens to your information when you use the app.
What FitSage is
FitSage provides outfit inspiration and style guidance. It is not guaranteed professional, legal, financial, or medical advice. Use your own judgement for what suits you and your day.
Information stored on your device
FitSage works without an account. Most of what you do is stored locally in your own browser (using localStorage) so the app can remember your progress on the same device:
- Your quiz answers, so your result and feed stay consistent.
- Your saved looks.
- A note that you submitted the early-access email form (not the email content itself).
- Your cookie/consent choice.
- A short, derived weather context when you use the weather check (see below).
This information stays in your browser. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data for FitSage.
Weather & location
The weather check is optional and only runs after you tap to start it. When you do, your browser asks for permission to share your location. If you allow it, your approximate coordinates are used once to look up local weather and are not stored. Only a derived weather context (such as a temperature label and a few outfit notes) is kept temporarily on your device to inform your outfit guidance. You can skip the weather check and still use FitSage.
Analytics
With your permission, FitSage uses Google Analytics (GA4) and Vercel Web Analytics to understand how the app is used and to improve it. These run only after you accept Analytics in the cookie banner. If you reject non-essential cookies, analytics are not loaded. You can change your choice anytime via Cookie settings in the footer. See our Cookies page for details.
Email capture
If you choose to join the early-access list, your email is submitted through our form provider (currently Formspree) so we can let you know about real FitSage updates. Their handling of submissions is governed by their own policies.
Shopping & third-party links
Shopping buttons may open third-party search or results pages. Those sites have their own privacy policies and terms. Prices, availability, and search results are not guaranteed. FitSage may use affiliate links and may earn a commission from qualifying purchases at no extra cost to you — see our Affiliate Disclosure.

We may update this page as FitSage evolves. The "last updated" date above reflects the latest version.
