Cookies & similar storage
Last updated June 2026
FitSage keeps things light. Most of what it stores lives in your own browser. This page explains what we use and how to change your choice.
Essential storage
These are required for the app to work and are always on. FitSage uses your browser's localStorage (not tracking cookies) to remember, on your device:
- Your quiz answers.
- Your saved looks.
- Your cookie/consent choice.
- A short, derived weather context when you use the weather check.
Analytics (optional)
With your permission, FitSage loads Google Analytics (GA4) and Vercel Web Analytics to understand usage and improve the product. These set their own cookies and/or identifiers. They run only after you accept Analytics; if you reject non-essential cookies, they are not loaded and no analytics events are sent.
How to change your choice
You can update your preferences anytime using the Cookie settings link in the footer, which reopens the consent banner. You can also clear FitSage's site data in your browser to reset everything, including your stored quiz answers and saved looks.
